The crab museum at Bai-Kuan environmental farm is the first museum that specially presenting crabs in the national. Within the four level building, it has widely collected Taiwan’s shell and crab living things, with total of more than 1000 exemplars and lives, which matches the educational intensions.
The main focus of the museum is the second floor exemplars presentation area and the third floor lives presentation area. At the exemplar presentation area has 750 different shell animals’ exemplar from small to large. The each body parts of crab are also illustrated separately, for visitors to be able to understand more about the crab’s structure and the basic concept of making exemplars. Also there is also a butterfly walking pad in the farm, and others such as firebug area, bird observation station, which is very suitable for families to have a environmental trip.
