Students release youngling fishes for conservation purpose.
To response the Ocean cultural festival at Kaohsiung, and has invite Chungwin and Linyuan intermediate school students to join the releasing youngling fishes activity. This activity is hold at Chungwin Linyuan harbor, and has released two hundred thousands of youngling fishes in total, hopping it can help to recover the fish resources shortage problem.
Students use scoops and carefully scoop the youngling fishes from large container and relay it to beach. Teachers also remind the students need to add some seawater to let the youngling fishes to be able to adapt in the seawater before releasing. This is the first time experience for these young students to attend this kind of activity, everyone were very exited. But more important is that students can learn the importance of fishery resources reproduction, which is a very meaningful activity.
