The training boat No.2 will drive around Taiwan for the purpose of ‘Fishermen basic safety training’ organized by Fishery Administration.
Since July 1st 2002, can apply the ‘Fishermen basic safety training’ every week at the Fisheries Administration Oceangoing Fishery Industry Development Center. The National Keelung, Su-ao and Penghu Maritime schools are also separately commissioned for fishermen to apply the ‘fisherman basic safety training’ in the Northan area, East area and Penghu region respectively, to provide opportunities for surrounding area’s fishermen to be able to join the training.
The Fisheries Administration indicates that in order to satisfy the demand on join relative fishing boats training by Taiwan and surrounding Taiwan’s islands fishermen, the training boat No.2 provided by administration will cooperate with this training plan. The training boat has all training facilities, and it will circulate at each harbor (Keelung Harbor, Su-ao Harbor, Hualien Harbor, Taichung Harbor, Magong Harbor, Lialouw Harbor, Fu-ao Harbor) for ‘Fishermen basic safety training’. Each Fishermen association can contact with the Fisheries Administration Oceangoing Fishery Industry Development Center for the training if required.
